Hatching Eggs: Hatching Eggs are a risk. We can in no way guarantee your hatch rate. Even if the eggs are packaged perfectly and arrive on time, we still have no way of knowing how they were handled during transit, and therefore can't offer any guarantee on hatch rate. It could be 100%, it could also be 0% unfortunately. A lot also depends on incubation practices. I will provide what works best for me, but a lot also depends on your location and your natural humidity. What I can guarantee is that I will only ship you my freshest eggs, and that they will be fertile. Please keep in mind that just because a chick doesn't develop does not mean it wasn't fertilized. As far as the bullseye method, that has only been shown to be effective pre- incubation. Shipping for hatching eggs is a flat rate of $25 per dozen, and the minimum to order is one dozen. I don't mind you only ordering 6 eggs, I just won't be able to adjust the shipping based on my packaging materials. You may mix and max breeds though to reach the minimum. I ship double boxed and use foam shippers. I also ship express when requested by the customer for a flat rate of $55 for per dozen. I can ask that the eggs be held at the post office for customer pick-up. I would recommend this, but sometimes even if I request it the post office delivers to your door anyway. Be diligent in tracking your delivery in case they do arrive at the post office and they neglect to call you. 

 

Baby Chicks: All baby chicks are local pickup only. If you are a long ways away, I can possibly meet depending on your order size. Due to biosecurity concerns, I do not allow visitors to my farm. I am also unable to take back any roosters. All chicks are sold as straight-run, so plan for roosters when you place your order. Chicks will come leg banded with breed identification when available.
